Epilepsy is a serious common neurological condition, that affects 1 in 240 children. Diagnosing Epilepsy is never straight forward, we have to take many different aspects into account. Through videoing seizures we are provided an opportunity to review the episodes and assess key factors, often enabling us to have a good understanding of seizure presentation.

With the access of vCreate, many families with Children and Young people who have been diagnosed with Epilepsy, or are awaiting a diagnosis have been able to receive faster plan of care from our Paediatric Epilepsy Neurology Service (PENS). 

Unfortunately with EEG waiting times have significantly increased, and through the use of this secure video platform we have been able to use it for a faster diagnosis of epilepsy.
