We had a record 22 teams setting off at a 9am shotgun start, and we are extremely grateful for Keith Osbourne, General Manager, and Stephen Cornes, one of our Trust Non-Executive Directors and Captain of Bearsted Golf Club, for their support in maximising the awareness raising and fundraising opportunities on the day.

 

 A fierce on course contest ensued with Daniel Bridge (Team Bryen & Langley 3) emerging as the individual points winner (45 points) while the Team prize went to Team Cornes 2: Martin Chamberlain, Will Ashby, Nick Brokenshire and David Cowan (174 points) who, in addition to playing some scintillating golf, managed to keep, play, hold, and return their all-important yellow joker ball!

   

Our wonderful Volunteer Trevor Williams also presented awards for the ‘Most legible scorecard’ to Steve Elliott of Team Bond and the ‘Bravery’ award to Karen Sampson of Team PSR Legal as the sole lady player! The two ‘Nearest The Pin’ winners were James Doswell (Team Doswell) and David Cowan (Team Cornes 2).

A wonderful day was had by all and raising a magnificent £10k for our charity!
