Laila visits DVH after her July skipping challenge

Laila is a graduate of Walnut Ward and was born at 30 weeks +3, weighing a mere 3lb 3oz! Laila is turning 10 this year and when asked what she wanted to do for her birthday she said she wanted to raise money to help other babies like her.

Laila was greeted by Chief Nurse Siobhan Callanan, Walnut Ward Matron Annette Pope, staff from SCBU and Dave our VHC bear who added their profound thanks for this incredible achievement.
