About us Latest News Volunteers Kindly Donate Further Wheelchairs Trevor and Barbara's Generous Wheelchair Donation Our amazing long-standing Meet and Greet volunteers, Trevor and Barbara Williams, have once again demonstrated their commitment to improving healthcare services in our hospital. Donation to Darent Valley Hospital Thanks to Trevor and Barbara’s generosity, Darent Valley Hospital c/o Valley Hospital Charity, has received two additional wheelchairs to benefit ESAT (Emergency and Surgical Assessment Team). This thoughtful contribution will have a significant impact on patient care, as it facilitates smoother transitions from ambulances to the Emergency department and onward departments as per patient needs. The new chairs care be clearly recognised by their red upholstery and signage that they are a donation. Previously Trevor donated 2 wheelchairs in support of our Pine Therapy Chemotherapy Suite and our Paediatric Assessment Unit. Impact on Patient Care These wheelchairs will play a crucial role in improving the hospital’s ability to provide timely and efficient care, ensuring patients can be offloaded from the ambulances without delay to receive the medical attention they need. This donation is just one example of how Trevor and Barbara’s selflessness continues to make a tangible difference. Gratitude and Appreciation We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Trevor and Barbara for their unwavering support and generous spirit. Their dedication inspires us all, and their kindness serves as a reminder of the profound impact that individual contributions can have on the lives of others. Thank you, Trevor and Barbara, for your continued contribution to supporting patient care at Darent Valley Hospital!
